Pretty shot. Nice depth.

(Tom, I started a tag for winter, if you want to use it.)

Thanks, Ahab. This valley is gorgeous--I've been there in August, October, and January, and it's beautiful in a different way every time. What you just get a hint of in this picture is the mountains that rise 5,000' straight up from the valley floor.

(Added the tag, thanks!)

What a beautiful, peaceful shot. You can almost hear the silence of the snow all around.

Looks just like upstate NY where my father grew up -- near the southern VT border. Like the place in this shot, the area around Hoosick Falls is phenomenal all year. We camped and went to folk festivals there throughout my childhood. Thank you for inspiring some memories.
