Keep Your Boy On His Toes

Keep Your Boy On His Toes Another one from the Marin County Fair. Maybe this is too cutesy, but there is something about that kid up on his toes with such unbridled glee that makes me love this.

Tracking the Over Under

Tracking the Over Under Mrs. G was kind enough to wheel me around the Marin County Fair for a few hours on 4th of July. I caught this shot of people walking to the fairgrounds while sitting in the car waiting to park. The people on the top are a couple of highway patrolman dealing with an accident on northbound 101.

Travel Thursday: Stinson Beach

Beachcombing

Stinson Beach is a huge, popular stretch of coastline with a cute little town just west of Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County. In the summer, it's jammed, and the line of cars trying to get there stretches for miles and miles back to 101. On a beautiful November Sunday, though, it was easy to get to and not crowded at all.

Turning Double Happiness on its Head

Red Character

The character means double happiness, but it's glued on upside-down. Seen on an art car in Marin over the weekend. For more shots of the car and its many decorations, go here.
