reminds me of the Glen Coe area in the Scottish Highlands except this looks so much more lush and sensual

Beautiful. Of course, it's probably only this color for about three or four months out of the year -- from about December to March or so. By late spring, it's probably golden brown. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)

The color brought out the Irish in me and made me gasp with a lilt, "Och, me heart if a flutterin'"

I'm curious. I like the center line, like a lightning bolt that delineates the two hillsides. But people keep telling me "THE RULE OF THIRDS" This photo seems to indicate that sometimes center is best. Why?
