what a great shot - so many parts to the composition - and the shades and tones work so well together..

The shadows range from the small (railing posts) to the grand )Bay Bridge tower). The bridge we know to be massive, but the puddle suggests a small object. A wonderful blend of shadows!

This really works - all the straight lines, angles, dark vs.light and a dreamy puddle of reflection. Superb!

Well done - what a marvellous shot. I can relate to the puddle as I stare out the window at the incessant rain which is falling all over the east coast of Australia.

Now this is a perfect shadow shot. Also, it is San Francisco in a single shot.

Good eye, what a lucky catch and multiple geometric patterns to entice the eye of the humble shadow shooter...and friends!

{Luv} the lines from the fence.

...and the reflection is just super!

Great post!

Those fence shadows almost seem intimidating in black and white! Like spears lunging forward! And love the contrast of the puddle reflection with a few gentler lines!

That is a really interesting picture-the way there is a line cutting across halfway down makes it look like two pictures at first. Brilliant.
