I guess you're right on the de Kooning comparison, E-6. His organic shapes usually include something breastier than these. But this shot is from this year. From just yesterday, in fact. And that ice has been snowed under already. So unless we get a thaw/refreeze cycle (a definite possibility), this winter's ice show will go in the books along with 2009.
