'nutritious and delicious' - hehe. I like that! This is such a cool capture. I hope everything was running to schedule and your ride arrived on time. Although if I had something like that to look at while waiting I wouldn't mind if my ride was a bit late :)
Hot Fudge: I've discovered that on my little point-and-shoot, dialing down the exposure gives me a faster shutter speed (I shot this at -2.0). It doesn't help if it's too dark, or if there isn't a bright light source within the frame (I end up with a lot of shots that are too murky to see anything), but in marginal cases I can get a little extra leeway.

Oh nice!!!!
I need to learn how to take pictures at night.
Happy SSS to you!
How do you manage such clear night shots? Do you carry around a tripod or do you just drink strong coffee?
Night shadow, i like it!!
That's a fantastic shadow.
My shadow shots
These shadows are intriguing, ranging from the huge to the intricate details of the light above. A fine and artistic blend of lighting...
A very intriguing, dramatic and very fab captured.
You rocks this week-end, Tom?
Happy SSS...
Awesome! This is a great sot.

Love the misty blue of the light rays against the stark dark of an evening...and yes, delicious!

Great shot! Is that a boat you were waiting for? Hope it was not too long a wait!
Wow, beautiful. I'm going to miss SF tremendously, moving back to New Orleans next week. I'll look forward to your shadow shots!
