Shadow Shot Sunday
I wouldn't consider the Embarcadero complex an aesthetic triumph, but it does seem to be a great source of interesting shadows. This was shot on the promenade level of Embarcadero One; previous SSS shots from the Embarcadero complex are here, here, here, here, and here.
Shadow Shot Sunday is tons of fun--check it out!

The shadows are wonderful Perhaps is is the lighting, but the complexity of the metal chairs and pattern of tile show the artistry of the shadowy world in an artistic way!
I looked at all of the photos you linked to - very groovy shadows. I've been to SF but I'm not sure what the complex is all about or if I've even heard of it.
What a terrific shadow shot, Tom! I do love the complexity of it! Very artistic indeed! Hope your new year is off to a great start, wishing you all good things!

You get a WOW from me too!
Happy SSS and 2010 to you.
I like the design of the floor.
MY SSS post. Have a great weekend!
Intricate patterns with the shadows on the tile. Very cool.
Cheers!

I really like how the shadows are kind of blending in with the patterns on the floor. A great shadowy capture!
beautiful scene
makes me want to be there wearing something purple
The shadows and floor go together so well. Beautiful shot!
That is just beautiful. The patterns and colors are fantastic.
A beautiful, complicated shot. Glad you found this one and shared it with us.
wonderful geometry in this shot, the monochrome adds to the effect too
Very striking. Together they make a great portfolio and perhaps and exhibit, I wonder.
I like this one very much indeed!!
This is a really nice shadow shot.
