god, I love these shots. The color, the pattern, the lighting -- honestly, and NO offense meant to your friend at all, I think I'd be disappointed looking at the real piece after seeing your perspective on them.
Thanks, Donna! But really, the pictures are no substitute for seeing the works in person. I managed to capture one view, one angle, one aspect of several of the pieces, but the totality of each of them is even cooler than the bits I got.
Really nice. After I left MOMA on Saturday, I walked up to 49 Geary and got a chance to see Allison's exhibit. Very cool, though some of the pieces were not as big as I had thought they would be. They are very striking, though, and absolutely worth seeing in real life.
Unfortunately, none of the pictures I took came out very well. Certainly nothing as good as this one.

damn, would love to be able to get out there and see this live an in person. How long is the show up?
Til December something. But Allison lives in Rhode Island, so she'll almost certainly be showing something closer to you in the near future.
