Shadow Shot Sunday: Self-Portrait

Self-Portrait Shadow

Waiting all day to get that fireball shot, I noticed by late afternoon that there was another picture to be had there on Potrero Hill. This, I thought at the time, will be perfect for Shadow Shot Sunday.

Great shadow shot! Isn't it wonderful to have enough sun to make a shadow? Love it!

Like the shot!

It reminds me of this old painting (I can't remember who it's by) of the shadow of a painter at his easel.

I love being surprised at the shadows that pop out of the light...I see them everywhere now...who knew...

Nice! The funny thing is, I can recognize you just from the shadow. ;-)

And what Sweet Repose said--wherever I go now, I'm seeing amazing shadows.

heh, I'd know you anywhere though we've never met.

How clever to take a picture of a camera taking a picture. It's amazing where the shadow shot opportunities pop up, isn't it?

Thanks so much, everyone. That shot turned out even better than I had hoped. Of course now you all know what I look like and how I hold my small camera so daintily...
