That is a stunner!
wow what a shot..is it the light that creates those smoke striations??
That's outstanding! Too bad it's smoke instead of fog, but either way, it makes for a great shot.
Awesome - so beautiful!
That is a stunning shot! And, yes, it's too bad it's smoke instead of fog, but it's still a terrific shot!
Happy SSS!

Magnificent - what a stunning shot, and what beautiful country.
Fantastic shot - hope you didn't get too close.
Spooky filtering of light and shadow! Dramatic shot!
Outstanding! Glad you captures that!
Simply stunning, a visual treat for the eye, you can almost smell the smoke...hope the trees will be safe, terrible fires out there.
Gorgeous! The beauty that can come out of smoke.

How spectacular! You must have been up very high! If you didn't reveal it was smoke I would have imagined it to be fog. That's one amazing photo!
What a beautiful photo. It is perfect in black and white.
See my Shadow Shot for this week HERE.
That is an amazing shot!
what a wonderful photo, really beautiful.
Shame about the fire though....
Thanks, y'all!
I shot these from Moro Rock, which is a spectacular viewpoint (6,400' in elevation) in Sequoia National Park. I was disappointed when I got there because the smoke made the view so hazy...but then the smoke gave me this shot, so it all works out.
Amazing photograph you've captured and shared. Strange how such beauty is generated in the midst of devastation. I'm praying for the firefighters and hoping for rain.
Hugs and blessings,
Smoke can make some interesting shots, but I'd prefer it went away.
