Travel Thursday: Brussels, Belgium

Brussels

Near the end of our European Tour, we spent a couple nights in Brussels. We stayed near Old Town, the touristy part of the city, and took a bus tour of much of the rest of it. Two nights was not nearly enough, and it's a city I would like to go back to and explore more fully some day. Great food, excellent beer and decadent chocolate.

beautiful and inspirational!

and Mrs. Generik has lovely hair. I am hugely envious.

Thanks. She does routinely get compliments on her long locks -- although yesterday a hair stylist told her she should "dye it brown with blonde highlights."

Uh, no.

to be charitable (and if I say I'm being charitable, doesn't that take back the actual charity?) the hairdresser is maybe just trying to get more work in a down economy. Hey, I CAN SO be a nice person sometimes!

and the neon shot might be my favorite right this minute.

Yeah, that neon shot is pretty cool. Brussels goes on my list.
