The annual Chinese New Year parade, this year celebrating the Year of the Ox, made its way through the streets of San Francisco last night. Here are a few of my captures of the event.
Thanks. This was the first time I've gone to the staging area to shoot -- much like I shoot the Carnaval parade every year. That seems to be the best way to capture the people and the floats and such.
I especially liked the expressions on the faces of the little girls in a couple of these shots. I find their enjoyment of the spectacle to be incredibly infectious.

Apparently the folks over at SFist liked these shots, too.
