Shadow Shot Sunday

E2 Reflections 02
As I've mentioned before, Embarcadero Center isn't much as an aesthetic whole but it is a never-ending source of interesting shadows. This is on Sacramento, along the southern edge of Embarcadero 2. I think I prefer this one, but there's a black and white version below the fold.

Shadow Shot Sunday: the gift that keeps on giving.

Shadows, sun and reflections. The winning trifecta! The total looks is an interesting look at an urban-suburban dichotomy, the trees and the buildings in harmony...

I like them both, but in this case I think I actually like the color version just a bit better.

Both very nice, though!

Thanks, y'all!

Yeah, for me the color--muted as it is--gives the shot a little more life.

What a fascinating Shadow Shot! I'm trying to see it from my laptop in my car, so I'm sure it's even better under better lighting circumstances. Next week I should have my own (limited) connection at the cabin, so will come back to see it then. Happy SSS!

Not just shadows but reflections dancing on that pavement.

Isn't it interesting how the whole of something may not be esthetically pleasing, but its pieces can be?

That's a really interesting shot, not only for the shadows, but all the shadowy reflections too. Cool.
