Travel Thursday: Swanton

Unread Meter

Found this on an old building off Swanton Road, just off Highway 1 between Pescadero and Davenport.

Apologies, G, for posting right on top. I'd yank it but it's cross-posted.

I love this color. (And I have a very similar shot in the archives -- surprise, surprise!)

Not a problem at all, ahab! I thought this shot might stir some memories for you -- it looks to me like one you might take.

Cool. Funny that for all the time I spent in SC, I never got to Swanton.

It was a first for us, too, which is kind of surprising given that we spent over ten years going to Santa Cruz for weekends when our friends owned a house in Felton.

Cool shot.

There was an old flat bed roller at my studio building that had a similar "distressed" finish with the same sea-foam green coloring to it. Always thought it would look nice on a gallery wall. (Sadly, one of the maintenance guys thought it would look better with a candy apple red enamel make over. He was wrong...)
