The Golden Hour
Kind of like an E-6 painting, except perhaps not as realistic. This light lasted for about 20 minutes the other evening, and it was awesome.

Beautiful. I got an amazing view of downtown from Presidio & Geary that day; unfortunately, I was on a 31AX and the light was gone by the time I could get off the bus.
Wow. You're too kind, G. It does look like something I'd paint, though your photo is much nicer than anything I take. (That's not a disposable camera, is it?) ;-)
I'll put up another SF painting next week.
I don't know Error... your stuff compares but that sure is a nice and glistening shot...
I'm not throwing away that camera for anyone or anything! I might trade it in for a better one someday, but...
E-6, I'll bet you could get very close to this palette if you wanted to... (once again, my hints are not especially well-disguised).
