Legs on Line

Legs on Line

I'm trying to shoot film again -- it's a bit difficult to get back into that mindset, as I've been spoiled by the convenience and immediacy of digital -- and this is one of my recent attempts. Shot outside Ike's Place on 16th and Sanchez, where you can get some of the best sandwiches in the city.

Man, those people are skinny!

Good one. I love the various bits of blue, from the muted denim to the color reflected in the sidewalk to the bright blue building in the upper left corner.

Nice rhythm to the composition. (The repeating blue caught my eye, too.)

Upper left really caught my eye...
and the center being controlled by that rhythmic purse.
Here's to film!

Interesting perspective.

Yeah, they ARE skinny! A few more years and a lot more Ike's sandwiches will fix that.

I also liked the repeating blue in this; and Savannah, thanks for mentioning the focal point purse. That's what brings this whole shot together, to me.
