Love all the cracks & crevices are wonderful - reminds us a microscopic shot of the epidermis...of course with small pebbles on it!

"Which way should we go? I'm thinking up this way."

"No, no, I think we should head down here!"

"I don't know... I think this way is the better path."

"Suit yourself. I'm going this direction."

you wouldn't think those squat round rocks would produce such long pointy shadows...great shot..

In the natural scheme, when compared to the rocky hills, the stones in question are small and seemingly insignificant. Yet the small rocks leave a much larger and significant shadow. In the right context, small can be more powerful...

Great SS of the "age lines" and rocks of our world. Makes me want to be there where it's DRY!

You must have been up at the crack of dawn to get such long shadows - or was it late in the afternoon? Either way, well done - it's a great shot.

The shadows cast by the stones seem like an ancient gateway to somewhere! This is enhanced by the rugged ground! Beautiful atmosphere!

You know, there's a definite consonance again here between your shot and Generik's. It's almost like he's stalking you!

Beautiful! The textures and patterns and of course the shadows are all so lovely! You visit some amazing places!

Do those two stones stand up forever like that, I wonder! Lovely shadows.

Wow!! As my grandson would say... "awesome dude."

I will have to start watching the ground a little closer from now on.

I love the patterns made by the natural lines and cracks in the rock. They create perfect shadows here.

Nice photo!

And I love the name of your blog. ;-)
