Shadow Shot Sunday

Fetid Adders Tongue 10
Fetid Adder's Tongue (Scoliopus bigelovii), an outlandish-looking flower with an appropriately outlandish name, along the Hazelnut trail in San Pedro Valley County Park.

Try Shadow Shot Sunday--these fine people did!

Now that is a weird name for a plant/flower!!! Makes you wonder just who comes up with these??? But how beautiful it is!! And a terrific shadow shot for the day as well! Have a great weekend, Tom! Thanks as always for your visit/comment! Always appreciated!

The woods here look like a jungle thicket, dark and perhaps a bit brooding. Before we feel lost in the woods, the shade is broken by a little bit of sun. Thus, we feel less lost, and instead the darkness is not an issue. Wonderfully captured!
