This was my best shot from the January Tucson trip. It was my best traditional Mexican meal, too, which is saying a lot.

I'm heading back out there today for a week or so. Nothing fun this time, and I doubt I'll get in any good photo time. See y'all when I get back, when I hope to get back into a more productive mode around here.

E-6, forgive me for neglecting your blog lately. Nothing personal.

Ahab, I think I may have had one margarita too many -- everything's at a slant.

Excellent. Love the angle.

Beautiful. I'd like a carnitas taco and a chile relleno, please.

Jeezus ahab, what on earth were you doing up at 4:30 am?

Haven't posted much to ignore, ahab. No worries.

The angle reminds me of how they shot the villains lair on the old Batman series. Fun stuff.

I just love the posture of the waiter. And the colors. And everything else! This restaurant is the real deal, not some corporate version. It's gen-u-ine Mexican kitsch. And one of the best spots in Tucson for a meal and a margarita.
