Yes, ahab, a definite improvement. Faster shutter speed, plus the ability to go up to 6400 ISO (the old one only got to 1600). When I use the 50mm prime, which gets to f1.4, I can practically shoot in the dark.; March 3, 2011 at 3:09 PM
