No Way Out
Two miles into Falls Canyon there's a 20-foot dry fall. There's a bypass route that departs a bit down-canyon--some scrambling, but better than a 20-foot vertical cliff. When this group arrived at the fall I started to tell them about the bypass, but one of the leaders turned to me and said "Shh...we want them to get a little freaked out before we tell them there's another way."

Travel Thursday: Death Valley
I took this shot using a Yashica double-lens reflex loaded with 120 film about seven years ago. I just got the film developed last week, and my friend Bill was good enough to scan a few of the negatives in. This is Zabriskie Point, looking north-ish.
Maybe I'll start shooting more film again...
