Scenes from a World Series
As many of you know (but perhaps not Tom, just because he's not tuned into those sports things), the Giants are in the World Series this year, and I am SOOOO loving life! Here are a few images from Games 1 and 2 for those of you who are interested in that sort of thing. Above, just before the game on Thursday, the sun peeked out of the clouds and shone brightly on the ballpark, which I took as a good omen for the hometown team. More below the fold...

all the color against the lead sky -- awesome.
Yeah, I know they're in the Series. I am a 100% fair weather fan, and proud of it (if I want heartbreak, I can get it from politics; I don't need it from sports).
Great set of pics. The first one is my favorite--love that wild sky (tried to get a few pics myself on the way home, but I have a feeling they didn't turn out all that well).
Thanks, Donna, and Tom, I know you know, etc. And I have no problem with you jumping on the bandwagon. If not now, when?
Great set. I really like that third one. Some sky.
Fantastic shots. That one shot gives a new meaning to "Fear The Beard." :D I thought about heading out there but because of the weather I didn't. I'll have to do it this week. It's amazing how beautiful AT&T looks even in that weather. McCovey cove looks like a parking lot :D GO GIANTS!!!
