Hitting on the Moonshine, Rockin' in the Grain
Another one with the camera on loan, shot at ISO 6400 (!!), which is why it's so grainy and noisy. Still, kind of cool, I think. Tonight will be a real test of this camera; it's the Friday Night Drinking and Shooting Club's November get-together, starting out at the world-famous Tonga Room! Drinks with umbrellas! A fake rainstorm over the indoor pool every hour! Sweet and sour meatballs! Tikis!!

Going Nikon? Hey, you may as well try on the Phils for size while you're at it.
I like the grain but I really like those soft tones and your interesting composition.
Nikon?!? Oh, heaven forfend!! I'd (almost) sooner root for the Phillies than shoot a Nikon.
No, it's a Canon 7D with an 18-135mm lens. And thank you for the compliment!
I am so outta my league here.
that sounds like fun. late night tikis lol ;P
If you don't defend a territory, Tom, your song will whither away. Pick a team!
Grainy and noisy is just as this shot should be. The subject matter screams for it. (and so does Bukowski who, I swear, just ducked around the corner)
The name of the bar is "Whiskey Thieves." You think Bukowski might have liked it?
