Aboard the Black Ball ferry going from Victoria, B.C. to Port Angeles, Washington, and the passengers are in deep shadow, framed by the windows showing sunshine through the heavy clouds. It's a Shadow Shot Sunday voyage, and despite the rough seas, I wouldn't mind being there again right now.
A couple of no longer needed chairs sit in leafy shadows on a San Francisco sidewalk, just waiting for their star turn in this week's Shadow Shot Sunday extravaganza. Hey, what did other people bring to the party last week?
Some interesting window panes and well-lit fire escapes in the SOMA district of San Francisco make up this week's Shadow Shot Sunday entry. Check it out, all the cool kids are doing it!
After Friday and Saturday's losses, some fans were afraid that the orange Rally Rags would turn into Crying Towels come Sunday, but the team pulled out a 3-0 gem and defeated the Padres to win the NL West. Now it's on to the playoffs!
