Beautiful flower.
The pistils leave delicate shadows. The shade allows the lavender flower to appear more purple. The lighting effects add such artistic flair to the scene. Frame this print and place it in a noticeable place for all to admire!
What an exquisite capture, Tom! Such a delicate and beautiful flower and delightful shadows! Fantastic! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

very subtle and delicate - perfect!
Gorgeous!!
I like the layers of shadows here! You have a good eye to have noticed them. :)
Love the shooting star shadow under the flower...simply wonderful, Nature's glory all wrapped up in lil' pinkish petals.
so delicate and pretty.
Rock collection shadow
Absolutely gorgeous!!
We love how you notice the shadows on the petals first, then you look down and see the shadow of the flower on the ground - such a pretty shot!
Very lovely! The colours and the delicate parts of the flower make for a fab shadow shot!
The delightful flower casts such defined shadows within its own beauty! Gorgeous photo!
Perfect...the detail is just beautiful!!
I love the delicate shadows on the petals. And the color composition looks lovely.
Have a great Sunday!
what a beautiful photo, such wonderful detail
Thanks, y'all! I was lucky on this trip--heavy snowpack + cool spring meant wildflowers were still in their prime up in the high country.
