Breeze Lake
I was kind of meh about this one in color (overcast sky and all), but I like the way it looks in black & white. This is Breeze Lake, near the southeast boundary of Yosemite National Park.

This is the kind of view that was made for b&w. Great contrast, great shot.
I traditionally ask if people swim in the pictured lake. So, do they?
I like the B&W too.
You guys are so lucky to live near Yosemite and those beautiful mountains.
Thanks!
And, Hell no! Are you kidding? That water is like 40 degrees.
Some lunatics swim in Sierra lakes. I'm not a lunatic.
Even the Polar Bear clubs stay out of Sierra lakes. They're beautiful, but they really aren't meant for swimming (with a few exceptions, of course).
This is stunning.
