In My Neighborhood: Lottery Scratcher
A bit of serendipity with this one, as the stripes on the bus shelter echo the California Lottery logo. In fact, this is probably the first shot I've taken with those stripes that I like (and I've taken a lot).

Great shot. Kind of poignant.
Poignant is what I was going for here. After he finished scratching these, he tore them in half -- obviously his dreams of riches were dashed by that bad luck penny he used to expose the losing numbers.
Good portrait. Not flattering. But very good.
