It's amazing how bored people can be when flying upstairs, Everyone seems to want the computer to keep them busy with movies, etc. Yet, the few times I fly I look out the window, what flyers did in 'the old days'. The clouds are scattered yet leave tremendous shadows on the ground below. Beautiful, the best scened are so often from up there...
I love your shadow shot - I just don't have a clue where you were flying from/to!!

Hubby and I love to look down and see the features of our earth from on high. Is that a fault? What river is that? Hubby brings his gps to help figure it out. I'm not sure that is still allowed, they keep changing the rules.
Thanks, y'all! Yeah, I always reserve a window seat and if it's not too cloudy I spend the whole time looking out the window. I've got a bunch more pics taken on this same flight (Boston to San Francisco--sorry, frayedattheedge!).

Oh Tom that is a really great Shadow Shot! Usually I think of Utah as (mostly) blah scenery when flying over. These cloud shadows spice it up.
