The Gloves Are Coming Off

Here's one of the safer-for-work views of the recent Folsom Street Fair, an annual celebration of all things leather and fetishist, featuring tons of nudity and kink. Not for the faint of heart.

Hypocrisy

Don't hide behind a book. If you truly believe in the ideals and morals of the Bible then you should accept all of it. Don't cut programs for the poor when the Bible tells you to care for the lowly and downtrodden. Do not judge people, for God is the only judge. Don't go to war, for the Bible tells you to beat your swords into plow shears. Do not force your opinions on others, for we have freewill.
If you follow this book follow ALL of it GOP and Tea Party people.

Night Fountain

On the way home from last Friday's Ale & Quail Club shindig, 5 of us cut through Golden Gate Park and did a little shooting there. This is on the Concourse between the DeYoung and the Academy of Sciences.

Look Through Any Window

I went to Alcatraz recently with my work group, and of course I brought my camera. Here's one of the shots I liked; this is looking north to Angel Island.

Coaltown

Tom and G will recognize this shot as a rerun from the IIRTZ blog. It features the Susquehanna River, located about 20 miles from my home, which very nearly flooded its banks last week in a repeat of the devastating Hurricane Agnes flood of June 1972. The river's crest last week was nearly two feet higher than in 1972 but the raised dikes held. Utter regional devastation narrowly averted.
