At the Bar: Two Views
One view, in color, of a group of people at a pub I frequent during baseball season. Another one, in black and white and from a slightly pulled-back perspective, after the jump.

Travis Bickle's Dream Comes True (Sort Of)
"Someday a real rain will come and wash all this scum off the streets." Until then, in SF at least, we have these trucks that come by every so often.

I've Just Seen a Face
I've finally gotten rid of the crutches (and the cane that I used for a few days as well), and am able to get out a bit. While I've been under house arrest, a number of new pieces of artwork have sprung up in my neighborhood. Like this, for instance.

Lunch at Mission Rock
Here's one that garnered a little attention on some of the local blogs. This is the waterfront restaurant known as Mission Rock, which has been completely redone and reopened with new owners and a much-needed sprucing up. Good menu, great place to enjoy some oysters and a beer at the edge of the SF Bay.
