Very cool. Someone at the ball park recently pointed out an osprey to me, but it was so far away it was hard to see it very well.
Thanks. I think osprey are really beautiful birds. And they're friendly or at least tolerant (toward each other and toward other birds generally), unlike bastard eagles. The other day there were three osprey circling peacefully above my lake. Along came an immature bald eagle and everybody cleared out.
