The Behemoth, painting #21 in my friend Denny Holland's contribution to the 50/50 show at the Sanchez Art Center in Pacifica. "50/50" refers to 50 works in 50 days, all on a theme chosen by the artist, each 6" x 6", displayed in the show as a 7 x 7 grid with the 50th piece off to the side. There are 70-some artists participating, and a whole lot of great stuff, so if you find yourself in the vicinity check it out.
