The Bridge at Bridgeport
Discovered that there is another Bridgeport in California in addition to the one on Hwy 395 that I've been familiar with all my life. This is a spot in the road along Hwy 20 in Gold Country, and it is home to the longest covered bridge in the US, built in 1862. The bridge spans the Yuba River.

Nice.
Have you ever stopped at Knight's Ferry on the way to the other Bridgeport? Great covered bridge there, too.
We stopped there the last time we went to Bridgeport and I was still on crutches. Sally saw the covered bridge; I didn't. Next time!
