I'll post this while it's still relevant. My section of our lake froze over last night, so fall is gone and it's officially winter. I took this shot before I began using a tripod on these leaf shots, and it shows.
Thanks! The ice did have a really interesting texture. A longer exposure and greater depth of field would have accentuated it, but I'll be damned if I could get another shot at it after that day.
