Approach the Bench

Approach the Bench

I love those abandoned couches, sofas found in strange and incongruous settings. Combine a Sofa Free with bright, late afternoon sunlight and some deep shadows and you've got a winning formula for some Shadow Shot Sunday fun. Let's see if some of these fine folk don't agree.

  1. Oh, you do indeed and you did indeed catch the moment perfectly! I love it! Love the oddity of it -- but then I'm an odd broad, so I would naturally appreciate this one! Have a great weekend, Tom! Thanks for the smile/giggle, just what I needed this morning.

  3. I like how the shadow adds a fetching two-tone upholstery style to this abandoned inclining loveseat. Hopefully without rain to make mildew on this, it stays and is used to relax by the passers-by...

  6. Nice find! And the sofa looks way more comfy than the wooden bench :)

  8. Approach the bench...very funny. Now I imagine a white haired judge, just beyond our sight, perched on the top of that picnic table. Wierd and wonderful ShadowShot!
