Too bad we got boned by the Chronicle on the 4th. They announced fireworks behind the Ferry Bldg. at 9; there were none. Thousands of people assembled there (including me and my camera), only to be disappointed with no explanation. Today the Chronicle "regrets the error." Bastards.
