Donna -- I think you'd have to bring your own. I don't recall seeing any cocktail lounges or liquor-to-go stands in the Summer Palace grounds.
There were a few tea houses, though.
Also, just as an aside, if you notice the haze in the background, that's the heavy-duty pollution of Beijing. It was fierce; Mrs. G was sick most every day we were there, and we both came home with respiratory ailments that lingered for some time after the trip was done.
