We seem to be placed in a great darkness if we don't look beyond the shadow. When we do, we realize that the darkness is only a byproduct of a strong and brilliant sun. What a stunning capture!
I'm glad you mentioned that the people were a band of local photographers - they look as though they're heading for the distant hill with real purpose on their minds!
