People leave the strangest things on my street. A late afternoon shot of this abandoned coffee maker seems like the perfect entry for Shadow Shot Sunday. To see some of last week's work, go here.
Thank you all for the kind words, glad you enjoyed this shot. The interesting thing about the sepia tone is that it is completely natural; I did no color manipulation to this picture whatsoever.
This is a classic! And what a great idea, to leave the old one out for somebody else to try his or her luck with. I probably have like three old ones in my basement. They still work -- just not good enough for me or bad enough to be thrown away. (Although Mary has been known to "disappear" things that I don't have the heart or good sense to dump on my own.)
Ha! Once someone left me a baby on my porch! Seriously we had to call the cops! They never found the Mother of the baby! =( Great Shot! Here is "My Sunday Shot♥"<--Hope you like it☺ Have a Great Day! ~Mamí♥Rocío

And you know times are hard when even Mr. Coffee is living on the streets...
ReplyDeleteGreat shot.. the coffee maker is sad..Maybe it didn't brew a good cup and they threw it out.
ReplyDeleteJust a thought.
Happy SSS.
Bad who left electrical stuff in the street but hey! it gave you a perfect and awesome shot, though, huh?
ReplyDeleteHappy SS...
Lovely shot! Yes people do leave odd things on the street. A couple of houses up from me have dumped some old broken computers on the footpath.
ReplyDeleteVery cool shadows. I like the sepia colors, makes it look more mysterious!
